Kemickal
Heating up on the East Side of Pittsburgh, the Mon Valley has many talents hitting the music scene hard. Kemickal the force that drives a sound that is now familiar amongst the avid music listener. Under independent label “SunnyBoy Music Inc.” Kemickal has released a cache of [5] five mixtapes and featured on numerous others. Close nit with the JSP & Hater Magnet, Kemickal strives to continue work with the many notables known across the city and region.
Early on in life Kemickal was well influenced by artists such as Jay-Z and the LOX… firm influences for they were at the turning brink of hip hop supremacy. Beyond that Kemi has never been impressed by those that are accepted merely because they are showcased through major air and commercial play. More a coinsure of underground music, Kemickal is more attracted to the grind and sound of more underground styled music. Obviously if you can’t gain the attention through underground movement, you’re not meant for Kemi’s ears at all.
“No Struggle, No Progress”, all things we’ve heard before. Pittsburgh is a very diverse city, commanding a leadership in branding and marketing. Easier said than done, Kemickal and his counterpart Ciego have made huge leaps over the obvious. From the lab known as Overlooked Headquarters, the Mon Valley crew has created their own feel of influential reality rap music that others can relate to.
Kemickal stands by his music stating that sometimes the reality of his music may be harsh… but yet is the truth. The world we live in can be harsh sometimes more than what people can handle. Building many relationships along the way Kemickal has become well respected grinding on his craft for a period of a decade to date. Hard work is demonstrated through the sound of Kemickal and his music striving to one day bring home the Grammy!

Kemickal is also an outstanding cook. Like his music this is a passion that Kemi has learned to Jones for creating some of the most tasteful delicacies. A powerhouse behind the flames Kemickal can easily be the exec chef at establishments of your choice.
