Pittsburgh is really growing with multiple forms of talent and art history being exposed. Now we belong to a city that people want to vacate to, become a part of. They say we have one of the most liveable cities in America, true under certain standards. Pittsburgh is a diverse city that seems to survive even with a degree of segregation still viewable. From the outside looking in, it would appear that no such thing could occur. Quite the contrary, for although people still seperate what things make standards with what makes things work. Many people know that networking and making things happen in a more collaborative effort is the main road to successful series of events. Should it take civil rights violations to get people to use mind alike to command control of a situation.
I would say not, more that it's a process that many of us are willing to take the steps to learn. Reasoning being, we are all tired of the short comings of not doing right by each other only to land you own misfortune of karma along the way. As I travel and consult with many people in the Golden Triangle, I find many people want to know how do they begin to open themselves up to other markets. The ability to accept the standard of business is the ultimate key to exposure. Learn to market your business in areas that others can not only appreciate but gain the vision of a collaboration. Maintain your self at a level of your are no bigger or smaller than the next business. I'm sure when you began to create who you and your company are, it wasn't to not be successful. There are many ways to take it! Community, network, charity, event collaboration, joint music projects and more... Take the time to explore things that other people need with in their being of business and offer your worth to gain a worth. It takes effort and persistance to climb a ladder that we all are climbing. Is it not the American way, is it not the nature of us being human to actually prosper.
